2015 Holiday Events in and Around East Mesa

Teddy Bear Tea
at the Ritz Carlton in Phoenix. Not far from beautiful Las Sendas homes, you can enjoy a fun afternoon tea with yummy treats, while your children can interact with Ted E. Bear, partake in storytime and sing alongs and even get to choose a teddy bear from the Ritz hotel collection. This event requires reservations and costs around $35. Snow What Fun
can be had at Desert Ridge Marketplace. If you want to experience some (fake but beautiful) snow fall, you can do it here. Snow falls nightly at 7 pm and 8 pm. The event is free and no snow will show on Thanksgiving Day. Desert Ridge Marketplace is located at 21001 N. Tatum Blvd., Phoenix and snowfall will continue until Christmas Eve.
Celebrate the Life of Christ in Lights and Music
The Mesa Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is hosting again the annual breathtaking Temple lights display in Mesa at 525 E. Main St. For 30 years visitors can enjoy glittering lights, nightly musical performances and the Christmas spirit every day between 5.30-10 pm.
3-D S’mores Ornament Class
For all the foodies this is the perfect two day class. On Dec 18 and 19 from 10am until noon, you can learn advanced fondant techniques and create their own cake ornaments. This class takes place at Lovely Little Cake Shop at 444 W. Main St., Mesa. Call 602-478-4114 for reservations to this fun little festive course.
East Valley Chorale and Orchestra Christmas Concert

Skate With Santa
and who wouldn’t want to? Youngsters can skate with Santa on December 24th at USA Skateland from noon until 3 pm. Don’t forget your camera when you kids meet and skate with and around Santa. Admission is $3. Food or Skate rental is extra. USA Skateland is located at 7 E. Southern Ave., Mesa.
